The Villa, with its stupendous garden and natural park, has stood at 500 meters on the top of San Mauro hill, since 1778, with a panorama to be envied which sweeps to the city of Rieti. It was the hunting residence of a noble Rieti family, having always been a luxurious structure made precious with Frescoes, decorations, friezes, and stucco work. Transformed from a hunting residence between 1781 and 1795, when the rich Rieti family first increased in power and prestige, into a sumptuous summer residence, about the middle of the 1800s, and became the seat for the little “court” of the Prince Ludovico Spada Veralli Potenziani (1880-1971), during the first years of the 1900s.
Bought by Balzerani family, reconstruction began in 1990 to return it to its ancient splendor and to transform it into a quality hotel.
The restaurant “Belle Epoque”, occupies the largest room, known as the “ceremonial”, with its large windows opening on to the garden and with its elegant interior design, offers restaurant service which is of high quality. It is able to serve 180 guests for important occasions.
Within the interior, of this prestigious building, the hotel (4 stars) offers 28 rooms of which four are suites, all with bath, air conditioning, refrigerator, satellite TV, safe deposit box, and room service. Our challenge is to surprise you with our quality attention which not even the most demanding traveller expects. Conventions, seminars, business meetings, executive courses, press conferences, for all this we have two salons. The largest has 180 places with an exit on to the park, the most artistic, the Yellow salon, has 40 places. And also, fitness, outside swimming pool, tennis court in a stupendous park.
